An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide comprehensive services within a K-12 school setting in Chestertown, MD. This contract position spans the current school year, offering the chance to support a diverse student population through tailored speech and language interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Document and maintain accurate records of student evaluations and therapy sessions.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Provide consultative services to staff and families to enhance communication strategies.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology certification (CCC-SLP preferred).
- Experience working within school settings across K-12 grade levels.
